  Kevin S. Beatson | Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Beatson worked in Canada’s Trust industry beginning in 1983, primarily with CIBC Trust as a Senior Trust Officer, where he garnered valuable experience in administration, Trusts, Estates, registered products and management.

Mr. Beatson left CIBC Trust in 1995 to join the Felcom Group of Companies and the Orbitex Group of Companies where he was instrumental in the administration of the Orbitex Offshore Funds, the non-U.S. Orbitex companies, the Orbitex Group of Funds in Ireland, and Felcom Data Services Inc.

Mr. Beatson has acted as a Director for Felcom Data Services Inc., and for many of the Orbitex companies in Nassau and London, and also served as a Director of Orbitex Financial Services Group in New York from 1998 until the early summer of 2002.
  Ronald C. Landry | President

Mr. Landry has Financial Industry experience beginning in 1993. Mr. Landry started his career at Altamira Investment Services Inc., at the time one of the largest direct-to-client and non-load mutual fund companies in Canada. Working initially in the Fund Accounting Department, Ron quickly moved into a Senior Fund Accountant position. Mr. Landry was involved in the valuation and accounting of funds, ranging from fixed income and money market to global equity. He also worked with "Closed-End Funds", maintaining all accounting records and producing all regulatory reports for the securities commissions, pricing, as well as audit and statistical analysis and reporting.

Mr. Landry moved to the Corporate Finance Department, where he was actively involved in regulatory reporting, maintaining monthly analysis records, projecting cash flow, monitoring and reporting Altamira’s investments and debt situations, budgeting for departments and reporting to the CFO and other senior management.

Mr. Landry also served as Senior Compliance Officer. In this role he was responsible for monitoring portfolio activity, ensuring that the funds were in compliance with National Instrument 81-102 and the prospectuses, monitoring trades for high closes. He also pre-cleared all Access Personnel trading and maintained records in accordance with Altamira’s Personal Trading Rules. He was instrumental in the introduction of internal audits of the trading desk to ensure trading procedures were followed.

Mr. Landry was recruited by Felcom Data Services Inc. as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for the conversion of Customer fund accounting, system selection, operations, budgeting and staffing. Mr. Landry was instrumental in the development of Felcom’s marketing materials and new corporate logo (used on all letterhead and business cards). He also plays a pivotal role in preparing proposals for and meeting with potential Customers, and maintaining those relationships. Mr. Landry was promoted to President effective April, 2007.
  Dennis E. MacPherson | Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. MacPherson has experience in investment fund operations beginning in 1995. He began his career with TD Bank Financial Group supporting Greenline Investor Services (now TD Waterhouse Canada). After the TD acquisition of the third-party investment fund transfer agency business from Stardata (now CGI), he was requested in June 2000 to lead the business as Manager, Shareholder Services. In this role, he was responsible for all day-to-day operations of the transfer agency. In February 2002, the TD business was purchased by AGF Management Ltd., and Mr. MacPherson successfully transitioned over 100 employees and hundreds of business processes. With the migration complete in June 2002, he accepted the role of Director, Dealer Relations for Unisen Inc. (now owned by Citigroup) and had the opportunity to travel across Canada for several weeks of each year to meet, personally, with senior operations contacts at brokers and dealers.

In September 2004, Mr. MacPherson returned to TD Bank to run the Client Transfer Services area, for all products and business lines of the Wealth Management Division. Through a management team of 14 and a staff of 150, Mr. MacPherson worked to reduce cost and risk from the multi-million dollar budget under his responsibility. He then accepted a senior management role in Investment Fund Operations in April 2006, where he was responsible for transaction processing for all TD brokerage and retail distribution channels, and all TD Mutual Funds products.

Mr. MacPherson has been an industry leader in process improvement change as a Member or Chair of several Committees and Working Groups, and is currently an active Member of the FundSERV Standards Steering Committee (SSC) and the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada - Financial Administrators Section (IIROC-FAS) Mutual Fund Dealers Sub-Committee. He has also participated in several high-profile speaking engagements, including the annual IFIC Conference, and CCMA Information Sessions on Straight-Through Processing (STP). Mr. MacPherson was recruited by Felcom Data Services Inc. in April 2007 as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, responsible for day-to-day operations, budgeting, and staffing.
  Paul Pedersen | Vice President, Fund Accounting

Mr. Pedersen has Financial Industry experience beginning in 1995. He started his career as a Fund Accountant at State Street and was promoted to Senior Fund Accountant, then Manager and eventually Senior Manager, Investment Accounting. During this time, Mr. Pedersen worked on over 20 Customer accounts, many of them key accounts used to reference new business. He oversaw the administration of multi-class and multi-managed funds with an asset base of several billion dollars.

Mr. Pedersen became an expert on Structured Products, working closely with the counterparty for these funds and representing State Street at new fund deal closings. He oversaw all aspects for the Fund Accounting operations including Customer service, procedural design and implementation, financial statement reporting, distribution calculation, tax reporting, risk reporting, conversions, and the accurate and timely delivery of daily valuations. He instituted and was the Chairman of the Best Practice Committee, ran monthly Self-Testing Audits for the department and was the point person for Internal Audits, Global Controls Audits and Annual Customer Audits.

Mr. Pedersen is a dynamic leader with many years experience spearheading successful teams in the Mutual Fund Accounting Business. He is an expert strategist, trouble-shooter, planner, and business driver, who has delivered dramatic results. He has a participative leadership style with excellent communication skills. He responds to business challenges with confidence, resolve, and focus. Mr. Pedersen has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and has completed the Canadian Securities Course. Currently, Mr. Pedersen is the Vice President of Fund Accounting for Felcom Data Services Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of the Fund Accounting Operation.
  David Bond | Vice President, Transfer Agency

Mr. Bond has Financial Industry experience beginning in 1990. He started his career at Prudential Insurance (now London Life), then one of the largest Insurance companies in Canada. During a ten-year period in dealing with both personal and commercial clients, he built up a book of business in both Mutual Funds and Life Insurance.

In February 2000, Mr. Bond sold his book of business to join TD Bank Financial Group, supporting TD Shareholder Services in their third-party investment fund transfer agency business. As an Operations Analyst, he was responsible for the automation of a number of high-volume manual processes. From there he moved to oversee the Dealer Services and Investigation departments. This department was responsible for dealing with all Broker and Advisor inquiries and corrections. He was also responsible for ensuring the Third Party Mutual Funds remained compliant with Mandatory Standards set for the industry by the Member firms of the FundSERV Network.

In February 2002, the TD business was purchased by AGF Management Ltd., and Mr. Bond remained at TD until October, at which time he was recruited by the newly created Unisen Inc. (now owned by Citigroup). As Manager of Business Operations and Support, his main responsibility was to convert approximately 35 companies from the TD system to Unisen’s Unitrax platform. With a large number of the Customers being Labour Sponsored Investment Funds (LSIF) companies, he was one of the key resources in developing the LSIF functionality within the Unitrax System, which had not previously supported this product type.

In February 2004, Mr. Bond returned to TD Waterhouse to run the Self Directed Retirement Income Fund (SDRIF) department, and later, the Self Directed Mortgage department. In addition to being responsible for day-to-day operations, he was able to implement several systems and business processes that improved efficiencies and reduced cost and risk.

In June 2007, Mr. Bond was recruited by Felcom Data Services Inc. as the Vice President, Transfer Agent Services. He is responsible for all aspects of Transfer Agency Operations.
